Handcarved in Peru, these adorable soapstone alapacas/llamas are individually hand-carved from natural stone so each one is completely unique in color and pattern due to the natural stone and the hand carving process.  Soapstone (aka jasper) colors and finishes include shades of red, grey, orange, brown and white. All eyes are yellow on the small carvings. The medium carvings have blue eyes.  They may feature some rough spots and natural inclusions.
 
The small size comes in two styles:  Standing or cushing (laying down).  The medium is only in the standing position, but has a pack carved onto the back of the animal.  Because each one is unique, if you'd like to select which animal you would like, please email me and I will send photos for you to choose from.
 
Soapstone is an excellent worry stone, and has the following healing properties.
